Take a break from social media by deleting your mobile applications
Go to a new hang out spot to clear your mind, ex. coffee shop, quiet outdoor scenery
Surround yourself around study partners that are wanting to focus as well
Turn off any televisions, and news media that can derail your focus
****Taking a nap, and using a planner to stay on top of important tasks, will help you focus also. Don’t forget to make it count this semester!
Good luck Drifters!
During this time of year, we are all excited about our favorite football team’s journey to the Super Bowl. While we cheer our teams on, a lot of us may indulge in foods we don’t ordinarily eat. Our challenge to you is to join us as we continue our healthy lifestyle goals.
This challenge will be a fun way to watch the games with friends and burn some calories. Each play that happens on the field will require you to get up and move, rather than sit down, upset, if you lose.
*Play Off Challenge* Before the game starts, everyone has to commit to one team playing. Once each individual has committed to a team, that person has to remain with the selected team for the duration of the game.
Each time your team allows the opposing team to get a first down, you must do three jumping jacks at the same time with everyone that chose your team.
Each time your team allows the other team to score; you and everyone that chose your team must do five pushups.
If your team fumbles the ball, you and everyone that chose your team must run in place for five minutes together.
If your team looses the game, you and everyone that chose your team must run around the house together three times no matter how cold the weather is.
We want to wish you all the best of luck, and may the force be with your team.

Still, there are a number of factors that we can use to compare colleges, and the QS World University Rankings is…

Studies show that over 60 percent of students change their majors. Most of the time this change is due to the fact that they have a different career interest. Other reasons are because of earning potential, listening to family and friends, inspiration from a professor, or the mistake of choosing a major without the research being done first.
Picking your major is one of the most important decisions to make after you choose to go to college.
The coursework as you transition from high school is different, and now you are deciding a path for your future career. If you hate going to class, maybe changing majors is not such a bad idea, especially as a freshman, the courses you have already taken should be able to carry over.

You are bored with studying for your major’s coursework
You are courious about other majors
You just want a change, and can’t stop thinking about the transition
